There are several special ministries that  the parishioners of Messiah support

• Missionary Society -The Missionary Society is the Home Missions ministry at Messiah.  Led by Mrs. Sarah Lineberger, they provide the refreshments for the afternoon fellowship hour, send bulletins to our sick and shut-ins, send sympathy cards and love gifts to the bereaved.  They also give special offerings to the ministry at large from time to time.  The Missionary Society celebrates an annual Missionary Society day on the fourth Sunday in September.

• Men of Messiah - The Men of Messiah is a vital organizational part of the Men's fellowship at Messiah.  They are often called upon to sing on special occasions, and they have an annual day each year.

• Usher's Board - Led by President Agnes Finney, the Usher's Board not only serves the congregation, but they are heavily involved in the mentoring of Messiah's young ushers.  As Messiah's 'worship ambassadors,' they are often the face of Messiah to our visitors and guests.

• The Women of Messiah  - The Women of Messiah raise funds annually towards a major church renovation project (this year's project has not yet been decided).  The women celebrate their annual day on the third Sunday in October.
