Shortcomings:
Pastor Miller (who is not very
tall) first jokingly says that he wishes he were blessed with more height, but
answers that he is a slow thinker. He
also names two regrets in his life: that he did not learn to read the New
Testament in Greek when Pastor Mains offered to teach him, and that he didn’t
learn to drive when Pastor Mains wanted to give him instruction.
Quick
Thoughts:
Pastor Miller’s favorite bible
verse is John 5:24:
“I
tell you the truth; whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has
eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.”
NIV
His favorite Old Testament book
is Genesis.
His favorite New Testament book
is Romans.
Final
Thought:
When asked what Mrs. Miller would
most likely consider her husband's best attribute, Pastor Miller deferred to
his wife, saying, “You’ll have to ask her.
She would have to tell you that. She’d
probably just say, ‘Let’s get on with the business.’
I will say this: my wife may not have a degree in bible doctrine, but
she knows the Word. She reads a
lot, studies a lot and knows bible doctrine.
She knows what she believes.”
I never had to ask Kenneth Miller
what he most admired about his wife.
