Biographical
Background:
Kenneth Gordon Miller was born 77
years ago in
Barbados.
He has an older brother,
Clyde
and an older half sister, Eslin, as well as other siblings on his father’s
side of the family.
Clyde
and Kenneth spent their
early years living with their grandmother. He
was born Anglican, but was not born again until 1943, when he converted to the
Pentecostal faith.
In 1953 he came to the neighboring British West Indian
island
of
Grenada
to begin a child evangelism ministry. He
was married
March 24, 1955
in
Grenada
to the former Lyril St. Louis, and together they raised 6 children.
Pastor and Mrs. Miller have two
sons, Gordon and Paul, and a daughter, Arlene who live in
Grenada.
They also have a daughter, Audrey, who lives in
Miami,
Florida,
and a daughter, Messiah’s Joy Thompson, who lives in Philadelphia.
Pastor Miller’s stepson, Steven, died suddenly in 1995.
These children have produced 12 grandchildren for the Millers.
